You might have noticed how, over the course of the COVID-19 pandemic, new establishments with open-air concepts have started popping up here and there. As that seems like the direction to take going forward, Cove at Batavia PIK is now the latest to join the trend in the Greater Jakarta Area.
Located on PIK’s Golf Island, Cove at Batavia PIK only opened late last month. Just like its predecessor Urban Farm, which is also in the same area, the brand new hangout complex offers an open-air retail experience, and trendy hangout spaces to boot.
A slew of familiar F&B brands have opened their outlets here, such as South Jakarta’s popular establishments Ask For Patty, Pizzza Dealer, and Lawless Burgerbar; as well as other exciting brands in the likes of Hot Stuff Chicken, Gelato Secrets, Oyster Dealer oyster bar, pancake specialist Pancious’ sister brand Pancious Go!!, hot dog bar Cosmic Dog, desserts and drinks purveyor This Earth, and local fashion brand 3Mongkis.
Talassa by GIOI, which is currently under construction, is another option for visitors in the near future. This is where you can dine aboard a phinisi boat (a traditional double-masted wooden ship) docked on the shore.
Those of you who love to bring your four-legged friends when you leave the house, this is the place for you. Make sure your pets are vaccinated and healthy, keep them on leash at all times, and put them in diapers (if needed). If things happen (as they do), simply don’t forget to clean up after your pets.
Visitors will find that the standard COVID-19 rules enforced by the government apply at Cove at Batavia PIK, including a vaccination requirement or medical proof for those who are still unable to get the jab. Checking in and out of the establishment using the integrated health and mobility tracking app PeduliLindungi is also mandatory. The number of visitors is capped at 50 percent capacity, the same of which also applies for dine-in.
