If you’re a fan of Monsieur Spoon’s flaky, buttery pastries and have been missing your routine visit to their stores across Bali, fret not — the French bakery has finally opened its first outlet in Jakarta.

Located at Urban Farm on Pantai Indah Kapuk’s Golf Island, Monsieur Spoon opened its first Jakarta outlet just last week. Urban Farm itself is a brand new hangout complex that offers a dining experience surrounded by vegetable and fruit farms, complete with a greenhouse that sells plants and eco-friendly products in the middle of the space.

As far as the Instagram posts go, it appears that the PIK outlet looks fancier than its Bali counterparts — with the decor reminding us of restaurants that line up along South Jakarta’s hip area of Senopati.

Considering the long opening hours (7am to 10.30pm daily), you can find anything from the usual brunch fare to heavier meals here. If you’re up for something new, we suggest you try Monsieur Spoon’s Jakarta exclusive offerings, the Croissandwiches (imagine saying this to the waiter). You can choose from a variety of savory croissant sandwiches such as the Wagyu Burger Croissant or Moroccan Lamb Croissant (IDR78,000 each), Halloumi Croissant (IDR63,000), or the Truffle Scrambled Egg and Mushroom Croissant (IDR58,000).

If you’re feeling like you can stomach heavier meals, try the Wagyu Beef Bourguignon (IDR160,000) or share the Sweet Chandelles set (IDR120,000) — consisting of two viennoiserie of choice, two mini tartlets, and one Crème Brûlée — with your loved one. All prices are subject to tax and service charge for dine-in.

Don’t forget to take away some of Monsieur Spoon’s pastries, cakes, and artisan breads if you want to enjoy them from the comfort of your home. At the moment, Monsieur Spoon PIK doesn’t take RSVPs and only serves dine-in and takeaway.
