This is a public service announcement: there will be no train services for the Ampang LRT line on the second and third day of Hari Raya, and on July 16.
Rapid Rail Sdn Bhd CEO Ahmad Nizam Mohamed Amin told The Star Online that the suspension of train services was necessary to enable the upgrading of its signalling system.
“Free shuttle bus services will instead be provided, between 6am and midnight, to take commuters to the RapidKL bus hub at Pasar Seni,” he was quoted as saying.

Ahmad Nizam added that the management has decided to carry out the upgrading work on those dates to minimise inconvenience to commuters.
The system was being upgraded to improve efficiency and safety, Ahmad Nizam told the news portal.
