While Sony’s hotly anticipated PlayStation 5 is set for release in select markets tomorrow, the electronics giant has announced that the next-gen gaming console will be available in Indonesia in just over two months.
In an official announcement, Sony said the PS5 will be sold in Indonesia starting Jan. 22, 2021. The digital version of the console will be available for a recommended retail price of IDR7,299,000 (US$517), while the Ultra HD Blu-ray disc drive version will be available for IDR8,799,000 (US$623).

Other participating stores in Jakarta include Terminal Game in Mal Taman Anggrek, Multigame in Kelapa Gading, and several Urban Republic stores.
Sony also announced local prices of PS5 accessories, including the new and improved DualSense Wireless Controller (IDR1,269,000) and the DualSense Charging Station (IDR499,000).
And, to get a good idea of how much games would cost, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, one of the console’s earliest exclusive offerings, will be available for IDR729,000 for the standard edition.
