A Malaysian citizen was found dead in a lift in the Laguna Apartments in Penjaringan, North Jakarta, on Thursday evening.
The victim, who was carrying a Malaysian passport in his pocket, was identified as Chia Yek Seng, Metro TV reports.
The victim’s body was found in the lift on the 20th floor.
Witnesses said they saw the victim enter the lift from the ground floor, heading to the 25th floor. The victim entered the lift with two others, whose identities remain unknown.
The victim’s body was taken to Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital in Central Jakarta for an autopsy.
