If you’re a regular Uniqlo buyer but are too lazy to go through the hurdles it takes these days to go to the mall, you are in for a treat as the Japanese casual wear brand is set to launch its online store in Indonesia this coming Friday.
The online store is said to be the largest Uniqlo outlet — compared to the offline ones — with more than 10,000 items available for you to choose from in XS to XXL sizes.
The upcoming launch comes with attractive promotions, such as an IDR50,000 voucher for users who download the Uniqlo mobile app for the first time and an exclusive limited tote bag for a minimum purchase of IDR500,000 through Uniqlo’s online store.
The Uniqlo online store offers free delivery for a minimum purchase of IDR699,000 as well as a cash on delivery (COD) payment method that bears the options of paying the courier cash or via bank transfer. In addition, it also has a click and collect feature should you wish to collect your items at the store after purchasing them online.
This is Uniqlo’s full debut in branching into online shopping in Indonesia, though it must be noted that the brand previously launched a limited shop-at-home service through the chat app LINE during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We’re grateful that our presence in Indonesia has been received well since 2013 until today, we have dozens of stores in various regions. We keep innovating and adapting to the technology development, not only through the offline outlet expansions but also expanding to the online market,” Daniel Pieter Sumual, spokesman for Uniqlo holding company PT Fast Retailing Indonesia, said in a statement.
“This is what underlies the launch of Uniqlo Indonesia’s online stores this coming Sept. 17 to answer Indonesians’ lifestyle needs.”
