Indonesian actress/Instaceleb Salshabilla Adriani crashed her car into two others and injured a man, allegedly while driving under the influence last night, but no charges were reportedly pressed in the incident.

The 20-year-old sinetron (soap opera) actress reportedly crashed her Mercedes-Benz into two cars that were parked near Italian restaurant Mamma Rosy on Kemang Raya street in South Jakarta at around 8:30pm. A witness said Salshabilla appeared to have lost control of her car and was driving at a high speed before crashing into the cars and a parking attendant, who has been identified as Naid.

Naid reportedly suffered minor injuries after he bounced off from Salshabilla’s car in the collision, which caused him to bleed from his chin and forehead. He managed to get up and move to the sidewalk, and was then taken to the nearest hospital.

Three cars, including Salshabilla’s, sustained damages in the front. Henry, the owner of one of the cars Salshabilla hit, described the incident as “loud.”

“I was eating, my car was parked outside. The car was moving a bit wobbly, then a loud crash was heard [when my car] was hit by her car,” Henry said at the location of the crash last night.

According to Henry, Salshabilla made an attempt to escape from the scene but she was stopped by people at the scene. Witnesses also say Salshabilla appeared to be intoxicated as she kept on slurring her words and was then taken to a sub-precinct in Kemang, where she flashed a smile to the reporters who came to cover the incident.

In an official statement, South Jakarta Police’s Traffic Unit said that there were no casualties from this incident. Suharno, who heads the unit, said the matter has been resolved in a kekeluargaan manner, which is an Indonesian legal euphemism for amicably coming to an agreement not to press charges for a crime.

Salshabilla’s drug test came out negative, and she said that she will cover the cost of damages caused in the incident.
