Popular Australian stand-up comedian Jim Jefferies will return to Jakarta and Bali to deliver his expletive-laden set at the end of this year.
Jefferies will take the stage at Teater Besar Ismail Marzuki, Central Jakarta on Dec. 17 and IC Center at Mall Bali Galeria on Dec. 18.
Aside from Jakarta and Bali, Jefferies will also take the stage in Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, Bangkok, KL and Singapore as part of his The Moist Tour. This will mark his second visit to Indonesia, after he graced us with his potty mouth in January 2019.
Tickets start at IDR1.25 million for the Jakarta show and IDR1.35 million for Bali, with the highest category priced at IDR2.75 million promising the “best seat in the house” as well as a meet and greet plus a chance to take a selfie with Jefferies himself. Ticket sales for the Jakarta and Bali show will start this Friday.
Jefferies, who also holds a US citizenship, was born Geoff James Nugent in Sydney. His comedy series, Legit, ran on FX in 2013 before moving to FXX for its second season. The 45-year-old hosted his late night-news satire program The Jim Jefferies Show on Comedy Central in 2017-2019, in which he brought his brand of outrageously crude and clever comedy to tackle current events and controversial issues.
Jefferies’ stand-up specials are available to watch in Indonesia on Netflix, including This Is Me Now, Freedumb, and Intolerant. He currently hosts a podcast called I Don’t Know About That with Jim Jefferies.
