One of Jakarta’s best known artisan bakeries, Beau by Talita Setyadi, has announced that they will open a second store tomorrow on Jalan Panglima Polim in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta. The new store is located not too far from the original Beau bakery on Cikajang street, also in Kebayoran Baru.
The Panglima Polim store opening will showcase a rebranding effort by Beau, symbolized by the bakery’s new minimalistic black-and-white logo below:

Since opening in 2015, Beau has become one of the go-to brunch places for Jakartans. Beau’s original store is famous for its leafy facade and big windows with lots of natural light, making it a favorite of customers who want to satisfy their Instagram fix. The new store, which can be seen in the sneak peek below, seems to rely on natural lighting as well:

In their Instagram post, Beau promised to launch several new menu items exclusively at the Panglima Polim store. The bakery is keeping details about that under wraps at the moment, but thankfully we don’t have long to wait.
Beau is the brainchild of pastry chef Talita Setyadi, a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in France. Known for their exquisite pastry, artisan bread, cakes, and other various desserts, Beau doesn’t use preservatives and only uses natural leavening. The eatery also offers a healthy all-day brunch menu as well as vegan-friendly delicacies.
