If you’re a fan of K-entertainment, then you’ve definitely heard of Paris Baguette. The South Korean bakery chain opened its first store in Jakarta today, promising high quality bread, pastries, cakes, and mains for Indonesian customers.
Located at Ashta District 8, Paris Baguette was brought to Indonesia by a joint venture set up by its parent company, SPC Group, and Erajaya Food & Nourishment (EFN). The chain itself was first opened in 1988 in Seoul and today, SPC operates over 430 Paris Baguette stores around the world, including in the US, France, and Singapore.
With over 50 seats at the café, Paris Baguette at Ashta is open for dine-in and takeaway orders from early in the morning until past dinner time.
As expected from its name, you’ll find French-inspired items at Paris Baguette with a touch of Korean tastes, such as the Peanut Crumble Red Bean Bread. The Fresh Cream Cake, one of its most popular offerings, certainly sounds like a good idea for your afternoon coffee or tea.
If you’re in the mood for heavier meals, opt for the Tuna Tartare Croissant Sandwich, Truffle Croque Monsieur, or Signature Salmon Pasta, among other delectable items off their menu.
