Ed Sheeran left many fans in Asia bereft in late-2017 after announcing that he had to cancel five concert appearances across the region, after fracturing his wrist in an accident.

The canceled concerts left a lot of his Hong Kong fans pretty disappointed, and collectively wishing that someday… someday. Ed Sheeran will be here.

Well, that day is coming up soon — the British singer-songwriter announced on Facebook that he’ll be performing two dates in April at the Fantasy Road Outdoor Venue at Hong Kong Disneyland as part of his Divide tour.

The show dates are Apr 17 and 18, which land on a Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

He also announced additional concert dates in Coconuts HK’s sister cities in Bangkok, Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Sheeran is known for a number of things outside of his music — including being one of Taylor Swift’s BFFs, and that time he managed to annoy a lot of people with his quick cameo in Game of Thrones — but he amassed his enormous fan base by penning popular songs Thinking Out Loud and Perfect (today, the first wedding dance song of choice), as well as earworm hits like Shape of YouCastle on the Hill, and Galway Girl.

Tickets will be on sale next week on Thursday January 17 at 10am, though the price is TBC for now — keep an eye on Ed Sheeran’s official site for further information.
