It’s been a hectic, long week at work, and you can’t wait until Friday night, when it’s time to get started on a good, hard-earned glass of wine. Or two. Maybe three.
Bangkok’s business district Sathorn recently welcomed a new rooftop bar — and what’s so special about it is that not many people know about its location. Hidden on the second floor of all-day Korean diner Super Seoul Cafe, Wine Hundreds is open on Friday nights *only*, and serves over a hundred types of wines starting at THB220 per glass.
If you’re unable to zero in on just one wine to try, then the bar also serves a Wine Flight Special (THB610) consisting of three types of wines: Rehaleali Bianco from Italy, Rehalieani Nero from Italy and Echeverria Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. The wines can be paired with the Korean dishes served at Super Seoul Cafe beneath the bar.
The speakeasy-inspired bar features live jazz music every Friday, and also occasionally hosts rooftop movie screenings.
