Join us for a challenging contest of mind and body and feed your competitive spirit on stage at the Yum Fest on March 11, at 5:30 pm for our version of that classic Thai eating game, Kin-Wi-Bark. We’ll be serving up plates of different ummm…challenging eats, from tasty little Isaan sausages to other wondrous dishes. The first person who eats their way through all four rounds wins the prize!
UPDATE: That’s right, it’s not just sausages anymore. We’re making it more challenging and more strategic!
And just to make this scene more exciting, the contest will be hosted by none other than (drum rolls, please) Pangina Heals! YAS, QUEEN!
Pangina Heals is the bodacious star of Coconuts’ own Queer As Fuck docuseries. You’ve probably also seen her gorgeous ensembles on Drag Race Thailand, Lip Sync Battle Thailand, and The Face.
So take your seat on stage, if Pangina Heals says you’re worthy, and get ready for a competitive eating challenge like Bangkok’s never seen!
How To Sign up
To enter the eating game please send an email to bangkok@coconuts.co with your name and phone number. Up to 15 brave souls will be chosen and one of them will be the ultimate champion of Yum Fest and Ruler of Isaan! (Disclaimer: That last title may be made up.)
Contestants, please check in with us at Yum Fest at 5pm on March 11 (30 minutes before the challenge starts) to make sure your seat is reserved. You can also register at the event if there are seats available, but it will be on a first come first serve basis. But hey, why not put your money where your mouth is and sign up now?
Prizes
Appropriately enough, the prize is food! The Grand Prize is a luxurious “Tapas Tour of Madrid” for two people at Uno Mas Spanish Restaurant @ Centara Grand at CentralWorld. Indulge in the luxurious Spanish tapas, paella, Iberico ham, fresh seafood and so much more up on the 54th floor of Centara Grand at CentralWorld.
