Selfies involving monkeys aren’t unusual in Indonesia. Sometimes it ends in a viral picture, in the case of the smiling North Sulawesi macaque. Sometimes it doesn’t end so well, as the monkeys resort to their nakal nature — attacking and hissing at the naive selfie-taking humans.
Caters TV recently released a footage on YouTube where the monkey was captured (on video that is) stealing a GoPro from a well-meaning Ubud tourist (who just wanted to feed the monkeys), before taking the perfect monkey selfie.
S/he is even smiling!
This brave tourist (23-year-old Brit Lizzy Ware), then flipped the camera around which resulted in another monkey selfie — though this time of her and another fury friend who decided it would be a laugh to climb up behind her and play with her hair.
