Inclement weather has prompted port authorities to temporarily shut down crossings between Bali and Java via the Bali Strait.
Chief Executive of the Gilimanuk Port Authority Boss Mascot confirmed the closure of the Ketapang-Gilimanuk crossing on Wednesday, starting from 2:50 pm this afternoon, to local newspaper Tribun Bali.
According to Mascot, the winds are too strong, endangering crossing boats and providing minimal visibility.
