Strong winds force temporary closure of Bali-Java crossing

Today has not been an easy day for many looking to get in and out of Bali, whether it be by air (Tigerair Australia customers) or by sea from Java.

Inclement weather has prompted port authorities to temporarily shut down crossings between Bali and Java via the Bali Strait.

Chief Executive of the Gilimanuk Port Authority Boss Mascot confirmed the closure of the Ketapang-Gilimanuk crossing on Wednesday, starting from 2:50 pm this afternoon, to local newspaper Tribun Bali

According to Mascot, the winds are too strong, endangering crossing boats and providing minimal visibility.
