Forget the moratorium for new hotels in the south.
Swiss luxury hospitality group Movënpick should be up and ready for business in South Bali next year.
Movënpick Resort & Spa Jimbaran Bay is slated to open its doors at its first Indonesian location in the third quarter of 2016, reports Tempo.
COO of Movënpick, Andreas Mattmüller says Bali should be a perfect start in Indonesia, since it’s a tourist haven and the resort will have an exclusive beach location with views.
The resort will have 295 rooms, a rooftop lounge, restaurant, ballroom, gym, spa, and even a shopping center, Samasta Mall, Mattmüller says.
But apparently Movënpick won’t stop with Bali in Indonesia—the Swiss group also reportedly plans to expand to Jakarta, Surabaya, and Bandung.
