The body of an unidentified, male foreigner was discovered by tourists at Nusa Dua Beach on Wednesday morning, according to breaking local news reports.
The man’s body washed up directly in front of the lifeguard’s (Balawista) post.
The man was only wearing swim shorts when found dead.
“At approximately 6:45 am, there was a shout from visitors to the beach who were there to take photos and enjoy sunrise, that there was a body floating on the edge of the beach,” Tribun Bali quoted a source as saying.
The body was evacuated to Sanglah Hospital for examination and police are still working to uncover the deceased man’s identity.
