The Facebook account of Australian Shaun Edward Davidson was active while the man was locked up in Kerobokan—there’s even a live video.

Davidson has gained infamy after escaping along with three other inmates from Bali’s Kerobokan Prison on Sunday night, through a drain/waste tunnel leading out of the prison on to a busy street outside.

With an in-depth report from an Australian TV crew broadcasted last week, showing unprecedented access to the Bali jail and now a major investigation underway following the escape of the four prisoners, more and more information about the goings on of the prison are coming to light.

For one, there had been talk that prisoners could get online, with some, like American Heather Mack of the Bali Suitcase Murder even updating Instagram and posting YouTube videos from within.

Now, a look at the Aussie fugitive’s Facebook profile seems to show he was very active online leading up to his jailbreak, with a number of statues, memes, and songs via streaming site Joox posted to his wall.

He even had a status inviting people to bring him food inside the prison:

Most notably, a Facebook live video was broadcasted on May 12 with a prisoner who Davidson identifies as “Bashir.” Watch the video and it seems pretty clear this is from the inside.

But Indonesian officials say they are investigating and don’t seem ready to admit that Davidson was active on social media while imprisoned.

News Corp Australia talked to Jail Governor Tonny Nainggolan, who said authorities are tracking the Facebook page to understand whether it was really updated from within the jail or if it someone outside positing for Davidson.

Davidson, who was serving a year-long sentence for using a stolen passport, was motivated to flee prison just 10 weeks before his release date because he didn’t want to get deported and face drug charges back home in Australia.

The head of Kerobokan Prison said that 10 guards were on duty on Sunday night when the escape is believed to have taken place, but the tower overlooking the tunnel was unmanned due to staff shortages.

And while the prison does have CCTVs, there unfortunately wasn’t one pointed right at the entrance to the tunnel.
