Yet another Australian has reportedly been blocked from entering Bali because of his alleged sexual offender status.

The news comes after reports of two Australians being refused entry into Bali last month over sex abuse cases back in Oz.

Directorate General of Immigration spokesperson Agung Sampurno said the Australian arrived in Bali from Sydney on Wednesday, around 3:30 pm. The Aussie was denied entry immediately upon arrival and flown back to Sydney the same night, around 9 pm.

Immigration officials have barred entry for six sex offenders across Indonesia since January 2017, Sampurno told Detik on Thursday.

The grand total of foreigners who have not been allowed to enter Indonesia so far this year is 363, for a number of reasons from pedophilia to prostitution, Sampurno said.

Indonesian Immigration has previously stated that is working on tightening up its monitoring of foreigners entering the country, screening especially for people with sex abuse records and asylum seekers.
