TEDxUbud returns to Bali this Saturday October 12th, 2019 at Setia Darma House of Masks and Puppets — a unique museum with a mission to preserve some of Indonesia’s most important storytelling heritage, located in the peaceful town of Ubud.
The central theme of the 8th edition of TEDxUbud is movement — exploring diverse topics such as choreography and dinosaur movement, forced migration, emotional journeys, the impact of travel, social movements, and the motion of the earth under our feet. (Yep, they’ve got pretty much everything covered, folks) Movement is a universal part of the human story as we cross the borders, lines and boundaries that structure our lives. Everything in the world and beyond, is constantly moving, in a state of ebb and flow, changing from one form to another.
This edition of TEDxUbud will be another rousing journey of storytelling, innovation, learning, change, and more! The event was created to celebrate the people and ideas that inspire and make us think twice about the world around us. TEDxUbud events have been attended by over 2,000 people over eight years and TEDxUbud videos have been viewed close to 3 million times.
