Local company launches mobile homes for sale

If any of you have ever found yourselves sitting in your apartment and thinking, Gee, I’d love to travel more while simultaneously having the comforts of home with me at all times, then maybe one of Treasure Triangle Company’s recently-launched mobile homes will let you have your cake and eat it too.

Measuring approximately 19 feet long, eight feet wide, and 8.5 feet high, the modules aren’t very pretty — they resemble small shipping containers — but they’re practical. The roof, walls, and door are constructed from fireproof IEPS panels, the windows are made of aluminum and have ‘security bars,’ and the structure is made of steel.

They can also be disassembled and reassemble, and Treasure Triangle claims that one module can be put together in 10 minutes. Supposedly, they’re able to withstand a magnitude seven earthquake and magnitude 11 winds.

The units can be used in a variety of ways — Treasure Triangle’s suggestions include a bungalow, coffee shop, mini mart, and of course, a home.

Prices start at MMK5 million. You can also request that your new home be decorated in a certain way — flooring, partition plans, etc — but that will increase the price. The option of stacking two modules on top of one another and/or building a balcony is also available, again at an additional cost.

If you’d like to check them out in person, they’re currently on display at Shukinthar Myopat Road, MyoMa Street 13 (East), Thaketa Township. The showroom can also be reached at 09423660255.
