In yet another freak accident this week, a 64-year-old woman was tragically killed after her husband accidentally reversed into her at Block 332 along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1.
The police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted to the accident around 7:50pm yesterday, according to Channel NewsAsia.
After the car hit his wife, the man panicked, swerving to the side and hitting two parked motorcycles.
An ambulance conveyed the woman unconscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital, and succumbed to head injuries later on.
Police are treating the case as an accident, and have made no arrests. Investigations are ongoing.
