Fitness studios are closed and options to exercise limited. Thankfully, these fitness friends got our backs with free virtual workout sessions that you can follow from home.
Here are some workouts that can help burn the fat you’ve likely gained sitting around home. Don’t worry, we’re all guilty as charged.
Decathlon
Sporting goods retailer Decathlon is streaming live workouts via Facebook. Conducted by trained professionals from fitness studios such as Lab Studios and The Ring Boxing Community, activities include yoga, barre, strength training, and HIIT, or High-Intensity Interval Training.
Tune in to this week’s upcoming classes: boxing, Full Body Bootcamp, Barre 101, and Arms Workout. It also offers special sessions for children.
Fitness First
The Fitness First gym has launched free virtual classes on both Facebook and Instagram. Various workouts including HIIT, pilates, yoga, and the popular Les Mills cardio.
Classes hosted by trainers from gyms throughout the region run all day, from 9am to 8:30pm, every day this week.
If you are game for it, you can join a seven-day workout challenge that consists of sets of burpees, jumping jacks, planks, and squats to perform every day.
TFX Fitness
The TFX Fitness gym is conducting on-demand workouts via Zoom. They include HIIT, Yogilates, strength training, as well as hip-hop dance.
Instructional videos on proper stretching, working core muscles without injury, and conducting static exercises at home are also available.
For this week’s workout schedule, choose from three different kinds of classes or do all of them if you are pumped enough!
Boom Singapore
Fitness training studio Boom Singapore has put up workout clips on IGTV if you’re looking for free boxing, strength training, and endurance workout videos.
They also have music-themed workout classes where you can pump iron while jamming to K-pop or Taylor Swift.
Pure Fitness Group
Pure Fitness Singapore has teamed up with Pure Yoga Singapore to bring their Pure 360 Live classes to Instagram. They provide a mixture of yoga and body intensity training from 7:30am to 7pm daily.
Their workouts focus on training all areas of the body such as the core, upper, and lower body. Stretching exercises are conducted in between to allow enough time for the body to recuperate.
Box Office Fitness
If you don’t want to waste time and start focusing on burning fat, tune into Box Office Fitness’ 30- or 45-minute workouts that focus on shedding those lumps fast.
Find extreme routines such as HIIT, strength, and cardio on IGTV. There are also workouts focusing on burning fat in specific areas of the body such as the booty.
If you want to try boxing, there are also boxing-inspired workouts that do not require any special equipment.
Refuel Gym Academy
Refuel Gym Academy is posting bite-size instructional videos teaching boxing and Muay Thai on IGTV for those low-on-gas fighters.
Iron Fitness Singapore
If you want to focus on building strength, check out Iron Fitness Singapore’s home-training sessions on IGTV where they plan out workout schedules with or without additional equipment at home.
The Cross Fit gym also plans programs that beginners can follow while also producing content that educates us on all things fitness.
