Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar spent the past week vacationing in Singapore, where he celebrated his mother’s birthday at the Marina Bay Sands casino.
The 53-year-old Canadian-Indian actor, who’s starred in Bollywood films since the ‘90s including the recently released Good Newwz, let loose one fun fact about his mom: She’s a gambler.
“Do more of what you love doing and that’s exactly what the birthday girl did. Spent the past week in Singapore taking mom to her favorite place in the whole world : the casino,” Akshay wrote today on Facebook, along with a video of him pushing his mother’s wheelchair past a “casino” sign at Marina Bay Sands.
His mother, Aruna Bhatia, turned 80 recently, and celebrations have been going on for several months. Akshay’s wife, the author Twinkle Khanna, posted photos on Oct. 30 of the family celebrating her mother-in-law’s birthday at India’s Hilton Resorts and Spa Shillim.
