Maine Mendoza’s MAC lipstick is now completely sold out all over the country, and even she can’t believe it.
Over the weekend, Mendoza herself announced that her lipstick shade @mainedcm completely flew off the shelves.
The host of noontime show Eat Bulaga wrote: “COMPLETELY SOLD OUT NATIONWIDE????!!!! Waaaah thank you guys!!! What a time to be alive.”

The lipstick was first sold online on Lazada on Sept. 21 where it vanished due to an overwhelming demand within a minute. It became available in MAC stores on Sept. 22.
It’s an impressive feat for Mendoza, who was at first perceived as a reluctant celebrity. Her co-host Vic Sotto said in an interview that Mendoza has learned to enjoy showbiz, a far cry from when she appeared to be crumbling underneath the pressure of fame when she wrote an open letter in November last year.
In it, she wrote that she and her loveteam partner Alden Richards are just friends, contrary to fans’ belief that they were a real couple.
She also wrote that some of her fans are making life hard for her: “I have not been able to do what I want and say what I feel because everytime I express my thoughts and feelings, some of you tend to misapprehend and invalidate them in so many ways.”
But this time, her fans are just supportive of her and this new milestone.
Fan @menggalurks congratulated her and the MAC team.
Congratulations to you and Team @MACcosmetics!! You deserve all the blessings you are receiving. Love you super! ❤️ #MaineForMAC | #MaineEdukCircle2018

@MsM1995 said that she’s happy but also sad. She wrote: “What if I run out of mainedcm MAC lippie? Unless ur gonna do another collab with @MACcosmetics? How about a full make-up line this time? Yayyyyyy, a fan can dream!”

Calling Mendoza “Meng,” @earnestviewer wrote in a mix of English and Filipino: “Meng, didn’t I tell you that we will move heaven and earth for you! And of course your lippie is really good so it’s no wonder why [it sold out]. Thank you for creating that shade for us, Maine. We love you so much!”
Meng, di ba sabi ko we will move heaven and earth for you..! At s’yempre naman, maganda naman talaga ang lippie mo, kaya’t hindi na nakapagtataka eh. Thank you for creating that shade for us, Maine. Mahal na mahal ka namin sobra!@mainedcm | #MaineForMAC | #MaineEdukCircle2018

@HeyyAndie shared an interesting idea. She wrote: “Congratulations, Maine! So proud of you!! Great job with the lippies, we super love them. Maybe next time a whole set [of makeup?]”

Mendoza is far from slowing down. She’s busy shooting the movie Jack Em Poy: The PulisCredibles and is starring in a new sitcom with Sotto titled Daddy’s Gurl.
But will she ever work with Richards again? The last time she teamed up with him was in a McDonald’s commercial in August, but it remains to be seen if they’ll be working in a TV show or movie — a move that would certainly make their fans happy.
