Twice-famous road bully finally charged in court. Claims he’s been ‘misrepresented by social media’

Road bully, Simren Singh, who found viral fame twice over the last year (a bit like finding love, but everyone you’ve never met hates you), has been charged with criminal mischief after he reversed his car into another vehicle following a road accident.

The incident that took place on Jalan Pahang, heading to Jalan Genting Klang in Kuala Lumpur, saw Singh crash into the car of Mohd Kamil Mokhtar. After the two men pulled over to discuss the matter, the accused reversed into Kamil’s car while fleeing the scene.

The incident was videotaped for posterity, and was the sequel in Singh’s last run-in with traffic laws and drivers. His first viral video showed his violent reaction to an accident with a woman earlier this year. In that incident, like in the most recent, he claims misrepresentation via social media only showing one side of the story.

Malaysian courts beg to differ, and have charged him with creating mischief under Section 427 of the Penal Code. The charge is punishable with no less than a year of jail, and up to five years. Plus, a fine.

Singh was released on RM2,000 (US$500) bail.

Hopefully on the condition that he stops driving.
