Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, aka Dr Vida, aka star of our collective dreams of being RIIIIIICH, has found herself on the wrong side of the law.

Guilty of unapproved advertisement, she has been given a fine of RM4,800 (US$1,000) in lieu of five months in jail. That’s what happens with rich people, y’all: pay the fine, and you won’t do the time.

That’s right, turns out that product she was schilling on Jom Singgah, a live show on the nation’s most watched channel TV3, doesn’t actually do what it says. Apparently, her Pamoga health drink isn’t the cure-all of burned skin, joint pain and knee issues. Shocker!

Well, it’s a step up from her other stuff. You know, the ones that can cause stupidity and baldness in users, instead of making them whiter. Which is a thing.

The program was shot between 1pm and 1:30pm of July 18 2016 at TV3’s headquarters at Sri Penatas, Bandar Utama.

Your girl, Dr Vida, represented herself in sessions court today. Baller.

Kids, it’s only a matter of time before she adds “lawyer” to her growing CV.

She’s not just the doyenne of a multi-million-dollar skin-crap (alleged!) empire – she’s also the one-time owner of a football club, a recent pop star, and a self-professed potential collaborator with Louis Vuitton. Oh, and her daughter’s about to drop that beat-boxing album any day now.

In times like these, she is the folk hero we all need. #FreeVida (Oh wait, she freed herself, paid that legal tab and is probably shopping already).
