Skin-whitening titan, beauty product empress, one-time football club owner Datuk Seri Hasmiza Othman, aka Dr Vida, aka Datuk Vida has a new career path launching today: pop singer.
Two weeks ago, she released a post-Raya shopping video, where she took her rather miserable looking daughter on a shopping trip for a RM100,000 (US$23,000) pink, Chopard watch. While the entertainment value was high, it was cubic zirconia compared to the diamond that is her new music video.
Star TV caught up with her during the video shoot, where she told reporters that she wrote her lead single I Am Me herself, while music was composed by Edry Abdul Halim. It’s a song for the whole family says Vida, even children will love it, she promises.
In the video, Datuk Vida is dressed tudung to toe in her favorite shade, pink, with a splash of clear heel at the bottom to give her a bit of an edge.
The recent divorcee is still hopeful that she will find love after her third marriage failed. She tells reporters that while she’s not a controlling wife, it’s become a problem as she gives “too much freedom.” Say no more, Datuk Vida, say no more
