Aldo Meyolla Geraldino has become the youngest student at the University of Gadjah Mada (UGM). In fact, the 14 years old, born December 19, 2000, has not only become a student at the prestigious university, he was able to get into UGM’s highly ranked medical school.

According to Kompas, Aldo was born and raised in Solo, Central Java. He did an accelerated program allowing him to finish elementary school in five years. He then managed to finish junior high in just two years and then high school in another two.

Aldo said he was well prepared to take and pass the university entrance test. “I was not afraid, I studied and prepared. Basically, I was relaxed while facing the exams,” he said.

While we’re not entirely sure we’d be comfortable be treated by a teenage doctor (a problem also faced by Doogie Howser, MD) we’re very proud of Aldo and are sure that he will make a fine addition to Indonesia’s medical community.
