As part of its aggressive push to get Jakarta taxi riders hooked on their service, private car booking app Uber is offering new and existing users seven totally free Uber rides over the next 7 days. All you have to is request a ride with Uber to or from Kuningan (defined as the area in the map below) and the free ride promo will automatically apply. 

So what’s the fine print on this generous offer? Well according to the Uber Jakarta blog post detailing the deal, “Every rider (existing & new) is getting 7 free rides, for 7 days, up to Rp. 70,000/- per ride.” 

The blog says the offer is valid from February 23 at 00:00 am until  March 1 at 11:59pm.

In addition to the free rides, you can also get a deals at a bunch of restaurants and bars in Kuningan just by showing them your Uber app. Many of these deals are for “free products” at Ismaya outlets such as SushiGroove and Pizza e Birra.
