Adila, 32, was in a very late stage of her pregnancy when she was traveling from Bekasi to Kebayoran on the KRL Commuterline yesterday afternoon.
But before she reached her destination, Adila went into labor during her transit at Manggarai Station.
“The security guards saw that Adila looked pale and weak. They thought she was sick, but it turned out she was about to give birth. The other passengers were worried so they helped carry her to the [station’s] medical center,” said PT KAI Jakarta Spokesperson Bambang, as quoted by Okezone.
Luckily, the medical staff at the train station had adequate training to help deliver the baby.
Adila gave birth to a baby boy before her family picked them up and took them to a hospital.
