​Woman gives birth on bus directly in front of Jakarta Police Headquarters

A pregnant women gave birth at Halte Polda Metro Jaya (Jakarta Metro Police bus stop) on Jalan Gatot Subroto at about 9am this morning.
 
The incident began when 29-year old Yuli, her mother Maimunah and her first child Aswan, decided to travel from Bogor to Lampung, South Sumatra, using the Inter-Province Bus.

“From Bogor we wanted to go to Lampung,” Yuli said told MetroTV, soon after had just given birth, while recovering at the Jakarta Police Headquarters’ medical center. 
 
After riding the bus for some time on the toll road, Yuli said she suddenly felt a familiar pain.
 
“The doctor estimated that I still had about one more week, but I immediately started having contractions and eventually I gave birth on the bus,” she said, smiling.
 
Yuli said she was assisted in the delivery by some of the other passengers, who helped her bring a healthy baby girl into the world.

Later, after she was checked out by a doctor at the nearby Police Heaquarters, she decided to name the Syahrini Murni Bhayangkariwati after the doctor suggested it.
