Police in West Java have named two people as suspects for starring in a porn clip that was taken in a Bogor hotel, the video of which circulated widely on social media recently.

The suspects, identified as 31-year-old RTM and 30-year-old PVT, were arrested at a boarding house (kost) located in Cibinong.
West Java Police spokesman Erdi A. Chaniago said that RTM and PVT are a couple and have been dating for a while.
“Based on statements from the suspects, they have produced 26 videos since November 2020, and all of them were uploaded on Pornhub,” Erdi said at a press conference today.
“The suspects have earned about IDR19.5 million (US$1,351) in profit.”
Their earnings from Pornhub were measured by views, police said, adding that the suspects willingly filmed themselves and uploaded the videos to the site to cover their daily expenses.
RTM and PVT have been charged with violation of articles under Indonesia’s Pornography Law and the Information and Electronic Transactions Act (UU ITE), which could see them imprisoned for up to 12 years if convicted.
