Indonesia’s President Joko Widodo likes to give away free bicycles to anyone who can answer his short quiz during his speeches in front of children (and occasionally, celebs).

Recently, Jokowi visited an Islamic school called Pondok Pesantren Darussalam in Banyumas, Central Java. Before making his speech, he invited anyone to come up on stage to take part in his quiz and receive a prize bike.

Up went this bloke to show that Islamic school students are also hip with the times (or whatever it is kids say these days).

His brief beatboxing display won the cheers of the audience and Jokowi himself looked amused, even though he had trouble pronouncing the word “beatboxing”. The president went on to say, “My question was going to be, Indonesia has 17,000 islands, name just seven. But since you beatboxed, I won’t ask you.”

The beatboxer was identified as Sihebaldatana, who is also a college student at Purwokerto’s Universitas Jenderal Soedirman.

He reportedly got his prize bike.

Lucky he didn’t have an awkward, accidentally profane slip of the tongue while beatboxing in front of the president.
