Watch: Indonesian woman curb mining in Australia unearths iPhone, Macbook, and more

The old adage “one’s junk is another’s treasure” can’t ring any more true for this Indonesian woman, who struck figurative gold while curb mining in Australia.

In a video posted in late April but which has recently gone viral, TikTok user Enny Sustrawati – an Indonesian woman in Sydney – documented her incredible finds while salvaging discarded valuables on the street.

People in Indonesia do not generally dispose of their furniture and other belongings on the street for others to take, so Enny could hardly believe her luck that she stumbled upon all of these items:

Undoubtedly her two most valuable finds were an iPhone in its original box (though Enny implied that it requires some repair) and a Macbook Air, which came with its charger.

In a recent interview, Enny told Wolipop that she moved to Australia six months ago and that she was initially taken aback by the curb mining culture.

“I saw that people were tossing their items [on the streets] in front of their houses. I didn’t dare take them at first. But they told me I can take the items for free,” she said.

Enny has previously posted a couple of other curb mining videos prior to the one above, but the latest represented her most impressive haul to date.
