A vocational school student in Marunda, Cilincing, North Jakarta was bullied and physically assaulted by senior students on April 6.
The victim, 22-year-old DRT, was forced to eat raw chili peppers by his seniors. The perps also allegedly tortured DRT by hitting him with a hammer.
DRT began experiencing stomach pain from the physical assault and was taken to BPP Hospital in North Jakarta.
DRT’s mother, Rosannaria Simanuillang, reported the case to the Cilincing Police Department on April 8.
“The victim’s mother was interviewed. Now, the case is being investigated further. The accused aren’t suspects yet. We will interrogate them as well,” said Jakarta Police Spokesman Martinus Sitompul, as quoted by Vivanews today.
DRT is still being treated at BPP Hospital.
