Are you sick of listening to the same generic lovey-dovey crap people always play at their weddings here? Well if so, you might like to meet one couple in Purworejo, Central Java, who decided to go against the norm by hiring a metal band to play at their wedding.
Well, at least it looks like they were hired to play at the wedding, since nobody in attendance – not even the old people – seem to object to the scream-o band’s ear-blasting performance.
The video, which recently went viral, was uploaded by Purworejo-based Facebook user Rubbez MusicStudio last month.
Speaking to online news portal Surya Malang, Rubbez confirmed that the video was not some kind of elaborate hoax.
“The wedding was in the Bruno District in Purworejo. The name of the band on stage is LBD (Last Before Die), also from Purworejo,” they said.
