Darth Vader, the infamous villain of the original Star Wars trilogy, encountered the work of real life villains when he decided to visit Jakarta last week.
In an amazing photoset captured by photographer Clara Prima for Opini.id, the dark lord of the Sith can be seen visiting the site of last Thursday’s deadly terrorist attacks in Thamrin, Central Jakarta.
The caption reads: “Despite being evil, Darth Vader joined in expressing his condolences to the victims who died in the incident at Sarinah on Thursday, January 14, 2016.”
But Lord Vader did not spend all of his time in the capital visiting Thamrin. In the rest of the photoset, the intergalactic bad guy can be seen partaking in all sorts of everyday Jakarta activities. Such as riding a Go-Jek…
Shopping for vegetables at a traditional market…
Taking an Instagram photo of his lunch at a warung…
Waiting to ride the Transjakarta…
And even engaging in a bit of scavenging (perhaps searching for a certain droid?)…
The Jakarta Police are apparently not afraid to tell Darth Vader he’s breaking traffic regulations.
By the end of the day, Lord Vader joined Jakartans in saying #KamiTidakTakut (or #WeAreNotAfraid in Galactic Basic).
