You shouldn’t makes assumptions about little girls and what they’re capable of, or you might just get punched in the face faster than you can blink.
The video below was shared by Dubai-based fitness coach Adam Kechil and shows off the talents of one of the Indonesian students in his kids boxing class, 9-year-old Azizah Nur Laila. Her unbelievable speed and skill has gotten the video shared over 13,000 times since Kechil posted it last month.
Coach Kechil’s post praising Azizah and her fellow Indonesian students is very sweet and well worth reading. But it is the amazing fact that Azizah has only been studying boxing for 5 months that really sticks out in our minds (that and the fact that she looks like she’s having so much fun). Clearly she has an incredible talent and we hope that Azizah will be able to continue to study boxing wherever she ends up after Dubai.
Azizah also provides further proof that girls who wears jilbab are not in any way limited in what they can do or achieve. They can become amazingly skilled boxers, heavy metal guitar gods or anything else in between.
