VIDEO: Get a language lesson in “Englonesian” from Sacha Stevenson

After a brief hiatus and giving birth to an adorable baby (who guest stars in this video), Indonesian Youtube star Sacha Stevenson (most famous for her “How to Act Indonesian” series) is back with her latest take on the more curious aspects of Indonesian culture.

In this video, amusingly modeled as a language lesson, Sacha explains the basic rules for speaking that unique amalgamation of English and Bahasa Indonesia that she has dubbed “Englonesian”. These rules include substituting “saya” and “kamu” with “I” and “you” in Indonesian sentences and randomly adding or deleting the letter “s” from English words.

Of course, the most famous speaker of Englonesian, actress Cinta Laura, is cited as an excellent example to learn from.
