How high do you have to be to not realize you’re being arrested by the police?
20-year-old Mustopa would know. The Penjaringan, North Jakarta local was just chilling outdoors early Thursday morning when some police officers passing by suspected something was off about his behavior. After an inspection, the officers arrested Mustopa for suspected meth consumption.
The problem was, Mustopa was so high he didn’t even realize he was being arrested until he arrived at the police station.
“This man was very, very high. He just mumbled when we spoke to him,” said Bungin Masokan Misalayuk, head of the Crime Investigation Unit at the Penjaringan Police, as quoted by Warta Kota yesterday.
When the police searched him, they found 5.04 grams of meth wrapped and hidden in his pack of cigarettes.
The police also searched his house and found a bong that was recently used by Mustopa.
When he sobered up, Mustopa admitted to drug consumption and said he received the meth from a supplier. The police are now trying to locate and arrest the supplier.
