A Transjakarta feeder bus traveling along the Senen-Lebak Bulus route got overturned while in the busway lane on Jalan Warung Buncit in South Jakarta this morning at around 8:30 am.
A resident of the area, Santozo Novan, told Kompas the bus got overturned because it allegedly crashed into a tree.
“It rolled in front of the Inti Fauzi building. It looked like there were no victim, there is already a lot of personnel handling it,” Novan said.
Traffic around the Pejaten has been reported to be heavily gridlocked due to the accident. Transjakarta buses are also having to use the regular roads since the overturned bus is blocking the busway lane.
