A 17-year-old high school student, identified by the initial M, claimed she was sexually abused by three civil servants in the Central Jakarta city administration office while she was working as an intern there.
M told the police that the incident occurred on Wednesday afternoon. She reported the incident to the police that same evening.
“There were three people, and she only knew one of them. The victim claims she was dragged into an empty room, and when she came to she was already naked. The people in the room all wore [civil servant] name tags,” said Central Jakarta Police’s deputy chief AKBP Roma Hutajulu, as quoted by Vivanews today.
M has already undergone a medical exam in order to prove her claims, but the results have not yet been revealed.
The police say they have the identities of the alleged culprits, but are not making any arrests until the medical exam results can be used as evidence against the civil servants.
