The mystery surrounding the unexplained death and possible murder of University of Indonesia student Akseyna Ahad Dori took an even weirder twist when his Twitter account, @akseyna, became active on Friday.
The screenshot of the tweet above translates to:
I promise, I will avenge all of you for what you did to Ace (Akseyna’s nickname), I will learn to be like “you” and of course carry out the same thing (murder) but with my own methods, take notice! –R-
In another tweet, ‘R’ wrote that he or she was Akseyna’s best friend.
The Twitter account is no longer active as of today.
It’s not yet known who posted the tweets on Akseyna’s account. In any case, the police are taking the matter seriously.
“This could be a new lead, what’s clear is the team is already working to find who accessed Akseyna’s account,” said Jakarta Police Spokesman Muhammad Iqbal, as quoted by Tempo yesterday.
Akseyna, a biology student at University of Indonesia, was found dead in the Kenanga Lake in the university’s Depok campus on March 26, 2015. He drowned in the lake and was wearing a backpack filled with rocks.
The police suspect that Akseyna was murdered, though they have yet to name a suspect in their investigation.
