Jakarta definitely has quite a few Muay Thai fans judging from the number of kickboxing clubs around the capital. But have you ever actually seen an Indonesian Muay Thai warrior in action?
This Saturday you’ll get your chance to watch some of the best Muay Thai talent from Indonesia, as well as Thailand and Australia, at the international Naksoo Muay Thai Fight tournament, which is going down at the Pertamina Sport Hall in Simprug.
The one-day tournament is being co-organized by Melbourne-based Dynamite Muay Thai and local kickboxing organization Baan Muay Thai.
Here’s the fight card for the event, which will host 11 bouts (including two featuring female boxers):
This will be one of the first international Muay Thai tournaments held in Jakarta so fight fans had best come out to support it if they want to see more kickboxing beatdowns in the Big Durian.
