Some drivers curse out loud and some take out their frustration on the steering wheel. But some others vent their road rage by purposefully endangering others.
The driver of a red KIA Picanto reportedly shot a Daihatsu Xenia with an airsoft gun on the Jakarta Outer Ring Road (JORR) toll road yesterday.
“The projectile came from an airsoft gun. The shooting happened on the toll road from Ceger going towards Bogor. We suspect it was because the driver didn’t like being overtaken,” said East Jakarta Police Chief Umar Faroq, as quoted by BeritaSatu yesterday.
The bullet damaged the Xenia’s driver window, though thankfully it didn’t go through the window and hurt the driver.
The police are still investigating the matter. They have the Picanto’s license number, but have not yet made any arrests.
