PT KAI to add 3 new KRL Commuterline stations on the Tangerang line

Train operators PT KAI, along with its PT KCJ subdivision that manages the KRL Commuterline, will add three new stations on the Tangerang line of the KRL Commuterline.

The three stations, Grogol, Taman Kota, and Tanah Tinggi, have already been built and will be operational in the near future.

“Initially [the three stations] were scheduled to start operation tomorrow (Thursday), but it was cancelled because we’re still waiting on preparations by the Trains Directorate General [from the Ministry of Transportation],” said PT KCJ Spokeswoman Eva Chairunisa, as quoted by Kompas yesterday.

The addition of the three stations means that soon there will be 11 stations on the Tangerang line.
