A woman in Jakarta is wanted by the authorities after a video of her buying something while in the buff at a drugstore went viral over the weekend.

The video depicts an unidentified woman  who appears to wearing nothing but a thong paying for something at a pharmacy in the Tamansari district of West Jakarta. After handing her money over to the cashier, she walks out of the store in quite a hurry. With her arms covering her breasts, she still has time to give money to a beggar before she is followed by a couple of creeps. She then gets inside a luxurious taxi that appears to have been waiting for her before it speeds off.

The video is believed to have been taken on Friday evening.

Netizens have been scratching their heads as to why the woman would dare to bare almost everything in public. Some speculated that it could have been a dare or that she could have been a sex worker who was forced to go outside naked. Others speculated that she may have mental issues and need help.

Whatever her reason was, one thing is for sure: if the authorities figure out who she is, things probably won’t end well for her. Her actions could be categorized as a violation of Indonesia’s strict anti-pornography laws, and the fact that it occurred in the middle of Ramadan won’t work in her favor.

In fact, the police are already offering a reward to anybody who can figure out who the woman is.

“Let me know, if the information is correct, who she is. God willing there will be a reward from us,” said Commissioner Bintoro, head of the Crime Investigation Unit at the Tamansari Police, as quoted by Detik yesterday.

“The woman’s clothing (or lack thereof) was profane, and that constitutes pornography. I want to know her reasons. Is she crazy or what? Especially during the fasting month.”

The police are carrying out an investigation into the matter, but said they have not found any strong leads.

Indonesia’s vaguely worded anti-pornography laws should technically punish those who filmed her and contributed to spreading the video to the public, but the law has been used to jail those who were simply the subject of pornographic material in the past. One notable example of this was the imprisonment of singer Nazril “Ariel” Irham for his sex tapes – which he said were created for personal use (not illegal in Indonesia) – in 2010, despite prosecutors not presenting any evidence that he intended for the tapes to be released publicly.
