The National Police (!) says it’s looking into a fresh porn scandal involving a woman filmed in a green kebaya, mere weeks after authorities predictably went on a porn crusade on a woman in a red kebaya whose sex tape went viral in the country.
The latest scandal reportedly involves a video showing a woman wearing the intricate green traditional top during a sensual photoshoot for a magazine. The video, which has been widely shared on Twitter in recent days, contains nudity but no explicit sexual acts.
“This is being looked into by the Cyber Directorate at the Crime Investigation Unit,” National Police spokesman Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo said yesterday, adding that police have yet to identify the green kebaya model and where the video was shot.
Unlike in the red kebaya scandal, the green kebaya model did not obscure her face. That said, we all know by now that police still managed to identify and arrest the people involved in the red kebaya scandal.
In November, police arrested a pair of adult content creators — a woman who goes by the initials AH and a man who goes by the initials ACS — after their sex tape, which they sold online, leaked and went hugely viral in Indonesia. The sex tape became known as “Kebaya Merah” in reference to AH’s traditional clothing in the video.
AH and ACS were charged under Indonesia’s harsh anti-pornography laws, and may each face up to six years in prison.
As they dug deeper into the case, police found 92 self-shot sex tapes belonging to AH and ACS, some of which depicted their threesome with another woman. That woman was also later arrested.
Despite their high profile arrests and the obvious risks to producing adult content in Indonesia, the green kebaya scandal illustrates how the country’s porn producers will persist, be it for kink, profit or both.
