An Indonesian OnlyFans content creator, who goes by the handle @gresaids on the platform, is reportedly pregnant amid her ongoing legal proceedings, prompting her attorney to ask for leniency from the authorities.
After being named a suspect for spreading pornographic content online in late March, @gresaids wasn’t detained amid an ongoing investigation, but she is required to regularly report to the police.
A bombshell was dropped this week when @gresaids told police that she is currently five months pregnant. She told local media yesterday that the father of her baby has agreed to take responsibility, and that they have agreed not to disclose his identity to the public.
Abdillah Syarifudin, @gresaid’s attorney, told reporters that the case files will be handed over to the district attorney soon, and they have asked that her pregnancy be taken into account when deciding whether or not she should be placed in detention during her trial.
“From a humanitarian perspective, no detentions have been carried out, but the legal process is still ongoing,” Jakarta Metro Police Spokesman Endra Zulpan said.
The adult content creator was arrested in Malang, East Java in late March. Prior to her arrest, her popularity had skyrocketed after appearing in a popular podcast discussing her online sex work.
Her appearance was seen as a gutsy move considering that while there are several Indonesian content creators on OnlyFans, most have chosen to remain anonymous due to the country’s draconian anti-pornography laws.
To the police, @gresaids said she earned around IDR20 million (US$1,392) from selling her content on OnlyFans per month.
In early April, police questioned the male actor who appeared in @gresaid’s OnlyFans videos, who was identified by his initials DRZ. He claimed that @gresaids promised the sex tapes were only intended for personal use, and had no knowledge that they were uploaded to OnlyFans.
